PARCC vs. ACT: What you need to know
This particular flyer was prompted by the following email I recently received from a parent:
"My daughter (currently a freshman) told me that one of her teachers told them that the current ACT test will be replaced by a different standardized test by her sophomore year. Is that accurate info?"
There seems to be much confusion among high school students, their parents, and some high school teachers in regard to the PARCC and the ACT test. We began fielding questions about both tests last spring and have received many more questions since this school year began. This flyer is an attempt to provide information, so families can help their students prepare for college.
